Once you get started, it can be hard to stop. There are so many things that we can say thank you to God for. For being here at all, for the sunrise, for family and friends, for the good things we have.
It can be good to stop and give thanks to God for all the things he has done. It is good to give thanks for Jesus and all he has done (and is still doing) for us today.
PRAYER WALK
Go for a walk and search for things you can say thank you to God for. You could simply walk around your home, walk down your street, walk in town or in the countryside or walk on the beach. Each time you find something, say thank you. You might want to record some of the things you’ve found by writing or drawing.

Thank you! Everything in me says “Thank you!”
Angels listen as I sing my thanks.
I kneel in worship facing your holy temple
and say it again: “Thank you!”
Thank you for your love,
thank you for your faithfulness;
Most holy is your name,
most holy is your Word.
The moment I called out, you stepped in;
you made my life large with strength.
When they hear what you have to say, God,
all earth’s kings will say “Thank you.”
They’ll sing of what you’ve done:
“How great the glory of God!”
